One of three ski areas by Sarajevo which was originally a tourism and industrial centre, multi-ethnic but was devastated by siege from 1992 - 1995. All three ski areas close to the city have now re-opened with buildings destroyed in the war rebuilt in some cases and ski facilities at low as well as the same friendly service as in the years before the war. Jahorina, Sarajevo, Igman and Bjelasnica hosted the 14th Winter Olympics in 1984. The main hotel in the area is the Marshal, a three star with table tennis and disco.
