Area Profile
The ski area is three miles from the town of Fernie in southeastern British Columbia on the west side of the Canadian Rockies. Known for its inbound steeps, Fernie has been compared to Red Mountain, Alta, Snowbird, Crested Butte, and Jay Peak. It has five alpine bowls that are only partially groomed. For starters, take a complimentary tour to learn your way around this complex mountain.
Lodging Profile
Condominium hotel with 220 beds on mountain with dining room and lounge, sauna, jacuzzi, pool, and hot tubs. Forty-two unit lodge and one- and two-bedroom timberline condominiums also available. Hostels to houses and everything in between is available either on-mountain with ski to your door access or 5 km from the resort in the city of Fernie.

Ten on-mountain dining options, ski bar at the base, rentals, ski school, grocery store and liquor outlet, and childcare for newborns to six years old. Additional shopping is available in nearby Fernie.

Cross country trails, backcountry touring, sleigh rides, snowshoeing, bowling, aquatic center, dogsled tours. Movie theater available in Fernie. Hotel has dining room and lounge, sauna, jacuzzi, pool, and hot tubs.
Snowboarding Profile
Snowboarding is allowed. Terrain park including hip jumps, six new rails including a 'c' rail, wall jump, bank turns, and assorted rollers. Halfpipe on lower mountain and numerous gullies.
