Kimberley has succeeded at turning itself into an excellent family destination resort. It has plenty of groomed cruisers, moguls, and glades to keep everyone happy. It also has an area restricted to beginners only.
Newly opened lodges offer 950 chalets with village ski in/out. Six condominiums within walking distance including a townhouse complex. Overnight parking with electric hook-ups.
Cafeteria, dining room, lounge and cabaret, along with limited shopping at the area and a shopping plaza nearby. Ski rentals, repair, instruction, dining room, babysitting, and first aid at the area. Hospital is 3 miles away. Ten percent snowmaking.
Cross country at base, snowshoeing, dogsledding, snowmobiling, ice fishing, curling, and ice skating nearby. Indoor tennis and racquetball at the area along with hot tubs and saunas at the condominiums.
Snowboarding is allowed including 2 terrain parks.
