Loch Lomond Ski Area offers skiing, snowboarding, and tubing. The resort is 10 minutes from Thunder Bay off of Highway 61 North. The resort recently increased snowmaking capacity and purchased new equipment for snowmaking for the halfpipe.
Lodging available within three minutes' drive with shuttle service available.
Ski shops, retail shop, ski and snowboard rentals and repairs, and lessons. Lockers at the area and complete shopping in town. Hospital is 10 miles away. Cafeteria and bar at hill and upper and lower decks with BBQ.
Ski nights, tubing, socials, fun races, last day Dummy Downhill race, and the Nesbit Burns Racing series.
Snowboarding is allowed, including a snowboard park and a halfpipe.
