Searchmont is located among rock formations formed millions of years ago; some of the oldest rock in the world. These are mountains with personality, offering a different terrain experience on every trail.
Ski in/Ski out accommodations; beside the spa including sauna, outdoor whirlpool, and outdoor pool; steps away from the main lodge with all activities and services conveniently interconnected. Villas have two bedrooms and bathrooms with kitchen and living space. Chalets have 3 or 4 bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen and living space. All units sleep 4 to 6 people. Additional lodging is available through hospitality partners.
Cafeteria-style eatery, bar with big screen TV, rental and repair, lessons, sport center, village shop, children's center, and first aid clinic. 90% snowmaking.
Cross country trails, snowtubing, snowshoeing, and 1/2 mile long snowboard park. Take the Snow Train, snowmobile through Algoma County.
Snowboarding is allowed including 2 terrain parks and a halfpipe. Measuring a half mile, the advanced snowboard park is hit after hit. New to the grooming arsenal last season was a half pipe auger.
Cruise through the Goulais River Forest on 10kms of cross country trails directly accessed from the lodge. During the season, all trails are trackset and groomed.
