Built on the foothills of Mount Pelion, the city of Volos is one of the most ancient cities in Greece and an important tourist destination all year round. Pilion boasts two runs of just over a kilometre, and the steep Kentriki trail which descends 217 metres in its 350 metre length! Meals and overnight accommodation are available at the centre.
