Waiorau Snow Farm is New Zealand's only Nordic and cross-country ski area. 55 kilometers of carefully groomed trails snake across the hight Pisa plateau and ski in/ski out accommodation is available for the adventurous. The main season is from the beginning of July to the end of September. Events are held during the season and cater for all levels from the citizen skier to the international racer.
Base lodge which can house over 70 guests with both ensuite and shared facility rooms (all of which are "walk out the door skiing"). Comfortable lounge with dining and full bar facilities. Viewing deck with 360 degree panoramic view of the Southern Alps. Ensuite bedrooms. Meals. Altitude shop, gymnasium, function rooms.
The ski school caters for the first time skier to the expert racer. The trail fees include road usage and lodge facilities for day skiers. Tubing. Luge. Ski Events.

The Waiorau Snow Farm track standard rivals the best tracks in the Northern Hemisphere with classic and skating lanes on all trails. Trails have been designed for all levels of Cross Country skier. The trails wind through the Meg River Valley to the North and the South with views of the Southern Alps contrasted with the rolling slopes. The normally light dry snow makes for excellent skiing. 55 kms of trails have been summer groomed and snow fenced to give the best possible trail conditions. All trails are fenced to catch snow and protect it from the sun.
