Buttermilk Mountain is essentially Aspen-lite. This is where to go to learn to ski or to take it easy. The terrain is moderate, with well-groomed runs on the outskirts of town. Buttermilk is well-loved by 'carving' snowboarders.
A total of 112 beds located at the base of the mountain. Another 14,000 are located within a ten mile radius.
There are two restaurants, rental shops, and ski and snowboarding lessons offered daily.

There are two terrain parks. Buttermilk's Crazy T'rain Park boasts a superpipe and an intermediate/advanced terrain park where the big hits are BIG. Tunes while you ride.
