Bogus Basin is spread out over a 2,600-acre area. The claim to fame here is the family orientation. It sits above Boise with an 1,800 foot vertical. They have two quads, one triple and four double chairs. You also will find 37 kilometers of groomed nordic trails.
Pioneer Condominiums are located mid-mountain and offer ski in/out lodging. Plenty of motels in Boise which is 16 miles from the ski area.
Ski and snowboard lessons. Rental shop and retail store on-site with complete shopping in nearby Boise. Bus shuttle offered on weekends and holidays, the resort is 18 miles from the Boise airport. First aid is available on-site, hospital 16 miles away.
Tubing hill and snowdeck park. Sleigh rides; snowshoeing offered on the Nordic trails.
Bogus really caters to snowboarders. All trails are open to riders with a halfpipe accessible from the Deerpoint Quad and two terrain parks. The Playboy Terrain Park is for advanced skiers and riders, while the Playground is for those looking to perfect their freeriding skills without the burly factor. New this season is the Funnel, a session spot solely for sliding rails.
A 6,000-quare-foot Nordic facility with lessons and rentals for cross country as well as snowshoeing. Thirty-seven kilometers of groomed trails are accessible for cross country skiers.
