Area Profile
Sunday River offers a variety of terrain for skiers and boarders, including glades and halfpipes. You always can count on finding snow on the slopes--even if Mother Nature isn't cooperating--as Sunday River has one of the largest snowmaking systems in the East. Want to try out new equipment? Forget your boots? No problem - the rental shop can help. Want to learn or improve your technique? No problem - sign up for a class or clinic. The resort has invested $2 million in capital improvements for the 2005/06 season. This includes two Grand Resort Hotels, the South Ridge, Barker and North Peak Base lodges and the Snow Cap Inn. Highlights are a greatly expanded Sunday River Sports flagship store at South Ridge Lodge and four new state-of-the-art grooming machines, including two winch cats. The Shipyard Brew Haus, a new restaurant operated by the Maine-based Shipyard Brewing Company, is also slated to open.
Lodging Profile
Seven hundred on-mountain condominiums, 200-bed dorm, 68-room inn, and two hotels with over 200 rooms each. Free on-mountain shuttle, overnight camper parking without hookups.

Restaurants, cafeterias, bars, and lounges on mountain and many in Bethel area. This includes the brand new Shipyard Brew Haus located at the White Cap Lodge. Ski shop, convenience store, child care for children 6 weeks to 6 years. First aid at area, clinic six miles away, and hospital 25 miles away. Season passes available to two resorts (Sunday River and Attitash) in one pass.
