Located in the Berkshire Mountains, Ski Butternut is one of the few remaining family owned ski areas. They have kept skiing/boarding affordable by offering pre-season passes and various season packs and programs for the family and individuals. There's a new quad on the Cruiser Trail, replacing the Granny's double lift. Five-hundred new rental skis and 100 new snowboards have been added to the rental fleet. Tower-mounted snowguns have been added, too, and the resort offers 100-percent snowmaking coverage.
Lodging is available in the Berkshires or in many Bed & Breakfasts located nearby.

Two terrain parks for snowboarders, one for novices and the other for experts only. The terrain parks frequently change, featuring table tops, launch ramps, quarter pipes, and spines that vary in size.
They offer eight kilometers of groomed cross country trails. No snowmaking for cross country trails. Rentals and lessons available.
