Black Mountain is located in Jackson, the heart (and soul) of Mt. Washington Valley. This is an old-line, very popular ski hill, particularly with families because of its unpretentious, laid-back style. Forget the lycra. Skiers have been plying these slopes for over 60 years. For 2005/06, the resort has purchased a new rental fleet, additional air compressors for improved snowmaking capability, and a new snowcat.
