Windham Mountain is located in the Northern Catskills about 118 miles from New York City and 60 miles from Albany. The resort boasts one of the highest vertical drops in the Catskills at 1,600 feet. They have 39 trails over 242 skiable acres, eight lifts that include one high speed detachable quad, five triples, one double, and one surface lift. Windham Mountain has a Mountain Top Adventure Park for snowtubers featuring 15 lanes and three tows.
Winwood, The Mountan Inn (one mile from Windham Mountain), was recently renovated and upgraded and offers hotel rooms and condos. Approximately 1,500 beds located within a 10-mile radius of the resort.
National Ski Areas Association "Best Program" award received by Windham Mountain's First Class Skier program. Children's services, business center, catering facilities, full service retail shop, and a modern spacious lodge. The Windham area features a number of award-winning restaurants with chefs from all over the world along with local pubs for apres ski activities. A completely renovated restaurant will replace the Vines Bistro. The new restaurant will be called the Trail's End Tavern & Grill and will sport an open hearth fireplace, lounge, bar, large dining section, and an outdoor fire pit. The Trail's End will be the apres ski spot at Windham.
Snow tubing, ice skating, snowshoeing, NASTAR, nightly entertainment, events for all ages. Coming soon to the Mountaintop Adventure Park is a Euro bungee area and a rock climbing wall.
All trails are open along with a fully wired terrain park with sound and lights. A 400-foot halfpipe. Full snowboard and boot rental facilities with lessons.
