Area Profile

Skiers began visiting the Anthony Lakes region in the early 1930s. Called the most loveable ski area in America by Life Magazine back in 1969, Anthony Lakes offers glacially sculpted peaks and champagne powder. They don't offer high speed lifts or high priced lift tickets. What you get is some of the best powder skiing in the Northwest. The mountain maintains an ambitious event and race schedule.

Lodging Profile

The closest lodging is 19 miles from the resort in North Powder. Most stay in Baker City, La Grande, or North Powder which are all within a 45-minute drive.

Services Profile

Cafe, saloon, retail shop, full service rental shop, Nordic Center, PSIA & AASI certified instructors, cat skiing, snowmobile access, and trailer parking. On Half Price Thursdays get half price lift tickets.

All 21 trails are open to snowboarders including several terrain features located in various places on the mountain. Full service snowboard and boot rental is available along with AASI certified instructors.

40 kilometers of groomed trackset trails that include skate lanes. Full service ski and snowshoe rental along with lessons.
