Mt. Bachelor is one of the Pacific Northwest's largest ski areas. Every type of terrain is available and the runs follow the natural contours of the mountain with a total of 3,683 skiable acres to play around in. There's cross-country action, too. New for 2007: they're replacing the Pine Marten chair with a new detachable quad.
There is no lodging on the mountain, but 17 properties with 3,000 beds are available through the Central Oregon Visitors Association. Lift and lodging packages available along with plenty of motels in Bend.
Direct flights into Redmond Airport, shuttle busses from Bend and Sunriver. You'll find many restaurants, bars, retail/ski shops, a demo center, and day care at the resort.
Ice skating, dogsled rides, snowshoeing, telemarking, cross country skiing, tubing, and sleigh rides. An abundance of restaurants at the resort. Movie theaters, many more restaurants, nightly entertainment, art galleries, and shops are in nearby Bend and Sunriver.
All 71 runs are open to skiers and snowboarders along with 3 terrain parks and a superpipe. Full snowboard and boot rental facility; clinics offered daily.
56 kilometers of machine groomed trails at the base of Mt. Bachelor. Nordic lodge with ski, boot, and snowshoe rentals, as well as a retail shop and cafe.
