Ask skiers what they think of The Canyons and more often than not you get the monosyllabic response: "Big." With 3,500 skiable acres and terrain for everyone you'll find long, cushy cruisers, steep and deep adrenalin enhancers, and wide, appealing bowls. Just four miles from Park City and the accompanying nightlife, The Canyons is within easy reach of Salt Lake City International.
Two signature resort hotels. The Canyons Grand Summit Hotel, a AAA Four-Diamond property boasts an outdoor heated pool, gourmet dining and slopeside location. Also slopeside, the Sundial Lodge is just steps away. Both properties boast a variety of luxury-appointed, family-friendly lodging options from studios to multi-bedroom condominiums.
Cafeteria, bar, ski shop at the area; rentals available. Ski instruction available for cross country, powder, and children. Daycare for the kiddies.
Did we mention the skiing? Aside from that obvious pleasure, there's always something going on here in winter. Most of the apres ski action takes place in Park City.
The Canyons award-winning terrain park is located in the Sun Peak area (formerly Snow Canyon) with high-speed lift access to the park via the Sun Peak Express high-speed Quad.
Cross country lessons available at the area.
