A four-season resort, Ascutney Mountain Resort is located six miles off Interstate 91 in Brownsville, Vermont. Known for its friendly air, terrific scenery and uncrowded slopes, Ascutney has been considered a haven for families in search of a bonding, relaxed ski vacation, many of whom get hooked on the place and return year after year. Not a lot of glitz and glamour on this mountain, but they offer plenty to do. The mountain has six lifts serving 56 trails on 200 acres. Highest percentage snowmaking coverage in the state. Nine Double Diamond trails and a separate lift-served 10-acre Learning Park.
One hundred percent slopeside lodging offering hotel rooms or 1, 2 or 3 bedroom condominiums complete with full kitchen, living area and fireplace. Lodging includes unlimited complimentary use of all resort amenities. Ascutney also offers 20,000 square feet of meeting space.
Skiing, snowboarding, Nordic, tubing, snowshoeing. Bonfires and torchlight parades, indoor pool, hot tubs and saunas. Antique stores, museums, theatres, and several restaurants within a 45-minute radius.
Skiing, snowboarding, outdoor ice skating pond (weather permitting), cross country skiing and snowshoe trails, tubing hill, indoor racquetball court, and swimming pool. Snowmobiling and sleigh rides nearby.
All 56 trails are open to snowboarders along with Ascutney's new Rip Zone Terrain Park. Full snowboard and boot rentals and lessons are available.
Thirty-two kilometers of unpatrolled, ungroomed trails are provided, along with maps.
