Area Profile

Bolton Valley Resort is a four season destination located in the scenic Green Mountains of Vermont. Winter in Bolton Valley transforms the area into a winter wonderland offering terrain for all levels of skiers, riders, and cross-country ski enthusiasts. Sporting 1,634 feet of vertical, Bolton Valley Resort offers 64 trails accessed via six lifts. Recent upgrades include the Vista Bowl quad, which opened up a new bowl atop Vista Peak, along with new trails and more than 20 additional acres of glades. Ski and ride under the lights four nights a week on twelve trails, or "go big" in the terrain park, Wednesdays through Saturdays until 9 pm. Try Bailey's Restaurant for meals. The recently renovated Bolton Valley Hotel, located in the heart of the base village, offers 60 traditional hotel rooms.

Pizzeria in the base lodge. Learning center and indoor sport center. Ski shop, post office, grocery, boutique shopping, deli and gourmet shop, lodging, full service cafe, tavern, cafeteria, pizza, bars. Evening nursery and preschool program, lessons, rental and repair, first aid, ski patrol, and a hospital 20 miles away.

Sports center with pool, lounge, lockers, exercise equipment. Cross country skiing, snowshoeing, telemark, and snowboarding. Night skiing on 12 trails with 4 lifts Wednesday through Saturday.

Snowboarding Profile

Snowboarding allowed including terrain park. Night Riders Series weekly snowboard contest under the lights.

Cross Country Profile

More than 100 kilometers of cross country trails. Thirty-five kilometers are groomed, 68 kilometers natural. Nopric, telemark, and snowshoe rentals and lessons available.
