Haystack is now a section of Mount Snow Resort operated by the American Ski Company and offers a variety of terrain for all ability levels. Haystack is only open on weekends and holiday.
More than 50 accommodation choices from Vermont country inns to quaint lodges and conveniently located motels.
Five base lodges, ski and snowboard rental, child care, clinics for all ages, learning center, 13 on-mountain eateries and six lounges, ski and snowboard shops, conference and group services, tubing park, sledding hill, dog sledding, snowmobile tours, spa and fitness, sleigh rides, and special events. Over 75% snowmaking.
A variety of activities are offered including sledding, tubing, snowmobiling, cross country and snowshoe touring centers, sleigh rides, over 40 restaurants, 50+ accommodation choices, free MOOver transportation system, antiquing, shopping, museums, and theaters.
All 135 trails are open to snowboarders along with two half-pipes and four terrain parks of varying degrees. Clinics, boot and board rentals, repair and retail sales are all offered.
Advanced-only 2.5 mile cross country trail that link the peaks of Mount Snow and Haystack. A variety of cross country ski touring centers are located within the Mount Snow Valley.
