Area Profile
Smugglers' Notch is a year-round mountain vacation resort in Jeffersonville, over the hill from Stowe and only 30 miles east of the Burlington International Airport. If you are the nervous type, stay off The Black Hole, the only triple black diamond trail in the East. Smugglers' Notch Resort covers more than 1,000 acres of accessible terrain, with over 300 acres marked and patrolled. The resort is consistently and justifiably rated as one of the top family destinations in the nation. The resort added an 8-acre gladed area last season. Other additions include a new Zaugg terrain park groomer, 75 high-output snowguns, and new luxury condos in the North Hill area.
Lodging Profile
Fully-equipped condominium-style accommodations ranging in size from studios to five-bedroom townhouses. New luxury three-bedroom/two-bath condos called The Eagles have been built in the North Hill area. The Eagles feature an aquatics and activity center with an indoor children's water playground, heated lap pool, hot tubs and exercise room.

The village is a self-contained community offering several restaurants, lounges, evening entertainment for families and adults, shopping, rental and repair shops, indoor swimming pool, spa, FunZone indoor family center, sleigh riding, grocery, deli, child care center, teen center, nordic center, crafts, massage, and welcome reception.
Area Recreation Profile
Children's all-day ski and snowboard camps, daily adult lessons, telemarking, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, outdoor ice skating, tube sliding, showtime theater for kids, torchlight parade, snowmaking learning center, terrain gardens, day trips, adventure dinner, bingo, and video arcades.
Snowboarding Profile
All 78 trails are open for snowboarders and day long camps for kids age 6-15 are available along with group and private lessons. Lift-serviced halfpipe, park, five terrain parks, scheduled pipe-jams and events. Two rental shops and night school available for snowboarding only.
Cross Country Profile
More than 47 kilometers of cross country trails and 20 kilometers of snowshoe trails. Clinics, private lessons, rentals for all ages, and guided outings available.
