Area Profile

Stratton Mountain Resort, owned and operated by Intrawest, is located in Southern Vermont and offers 90 different trails on a single summit that is stretched out over a 500-acre area. Twelve chairlifts, summit gondola and the only six-passenger high-speed detachable chair lift in the New England area service the mountain's 2,003 vertical drop. Stratton added a new "gladed experience" called "Test Pilot" last season. Called a "web of trails" or a "blue/black experience," the addition bumps up the resort's total gladed area to 130 acres.
