Sat on 30C for most of the day here in Merimbula, started dropping at around 5pm. Currently 24C.
I would assume Perisher counted all the snow they made after the dump early in the season (most of which melted), which was several weeks before...
I think Donza was talking about vertical rise, rather than length.
Perisher has updated their front page to "We received 3cm overnight".
