All of these pictures are making me jealous but recent border closures give me little confidence we will get to ski New Zealand this winter.
I hiked up The Link one summer about 20 years ago. It's a lot steeper than it looks when you are being dragged up it on snow.

Just FYI Mt Ruapehu has announced that Whakapapa will remain open until Nov 1 and Turoa will remain open until Nov 16, Friday - Monday ONLY....

We love Roundhill but understand it usually closes quite early even in a good season - i.e. early - mid September.
