Most models showing nice accumulations for later this arvo/overnight for the Snowy Mountains, first image is accumulations from Access-C and second image a satellite pic showing a large area of snow cover

Yeah, IMO Badja would need a pretty special system to pick-up much in a Westerly, given it's in the lee of the MR.
Better chance tonight when we see that Westerly shift to Sou-West.
I suspect it'l be negligible accumulations though.

Mt. Stirling is looking a bit too good for Monday July 14/7/19. I am going there tomorrow and will report back.

I just caught up with a mate who was there yesteday, said it was nice and fresh but still pretty shrubby, he managed to ride Stanley bowl though. But with last night and tonight’s snow I think you will have a good time tomorrow, look forward to the report

I think temps will start to get a little marginal for Buller in the next 2 hours IMO.
Especially with that Westerly coming into play.

AXS has been particularly bullish in recent days. Even to the point of overstating IMO.
WRF, however, has been doing well. here's how it looks for today/tonight:

Spot on pow, looking at Baw Baw obs and there starting to cop the frontal band now and there temp is slowly creeping up currently at -0.7c. It won’t want to head much higher. IMO

It’s a strange front this one as even here at home the temp dropped a little when the first band came through a couple of hours ago and then strangely the more rain we received it started to rise again?
So the actual front must sit a little more south than than that first rain band.
