Snowing at Perisher if I’m not mistaken.
6° C rain @ Wudinna (sea-level, 33° S) as the Nor'Wester makes landfall in SA
I don't think this will be great for snow, except for perhaps very high up. 1800m on Friday , 2000m otherwise.

Am planning to hike the main range mid-late November. If this keeps up it may be a little challenging....

Observed this morning heavy fog over the main range and resorts. Circa 2 degrees and mizzle. A bit of a break at the CP end but socked in around PV. Dust clearly evident on a snowpack that was soft - skied ok given the moisture and lack of freeze.
Couple of NSW obs thus far.
Till 0900 today ……TB just on 17mm. PV just on 20mm. Thankfully not much since then given the warmish temps.
On the leeward we had 10 mm overnight. Just an occasional shower since. It’s cold enough:
Hopefully those temps drop in the early a.m. along with some snowy moisture.
Crazy rain, storms and flash floods driving up through Gippsland.
Dry Tambo and Omeo but impressive lightniing show over the Bogong HPs. Sleet from 1400m finally turning to heavy wet snow at Slippery Pinch. Puking down now but heavy and wet, settles for a brief cm then washes away again, probably a decent few cm up the hill.
Little dusting overnight with the odd flake today at CP. Base refrozen skied ok
Steady light rain is falling in NE Melb. now. It was choppy on the bay today with white caps, wind swell and an onshore westerly wind.
About 5 cm of OK looking fluffy stuff at CP this morning
Heavy wet snow down to circa 1600 ASL. Melting quick at lower elevations. Road to CP is cleared and currently open. Breezy, circa 1degree with wet snow falling. At least 10 cms above 1750ASL. Not a BC day with marginal vis across the alpine.
Where there was an existing base it’s a nice top up for tomorrow - camping and a few turns….

Gotta just say that’s the heaviest snow I’ve skied this Aussie snow season and that’s going back to May. Because of the weather and as reported earlier I retreated in resort just for looks and nothing more than that really.
The weather was ordinary when I set out but vis cleared up by the time I got to top of V8.
Looking up to Olympic it was promising as the sky cleared nicely. By here I can confirm 10-15 cms of super wet snow.
Further up it closed in as heavy and wet with snow started falling.
Turned and headed back. First time I recall having to push downhill from that elevation
Stop at mid then push back to base. Can’t recall snow like it this year. Did not ski deep but just wet and grippy - made for poor turns. But it’s still snow so no complaints. Needs a freeze tonight
Yep 10 cm in the lee slopes, skied ok up to about 11.30 then gluggy and slow. Still getting flurries now.
A lot more snow on the east of Lake Jindy from this one. Green as grass up to the tree line and beyond on the western side - really only the first line of peaks on that side (about 1600-1800m) that show appreciable settling.
Most notable thing from this event for me was actually the ridiculous rainfall rates for a brief time during the night. Though it was hailing hard at one point but realised it was the rain. Gardens new drainage has burst a bank or three,
BOM are forecasting snow above 1400 M. today for N.E VIC..
Dinner plain got a dusting of snow overnight but nothing to stimulate some out of season FOMO XC ski action.
