Very light sleet at Guthega around 12:30pm today, the ground was very muddy after an obvious deluge overnight.
Not much snow left below around 1750m ASL by my reckoning, maybe even higher.
Looking in a northerly and NE direction along the snowy river towards what I think is east Tate ridge and the Guthega trig, this afternoon

3 x 150 km/h gusts at Maatsuyker Island today.
8.46 am, 8.48 am and 10.40 am.
Consistently above 120 km/h since 8.30 am except for a brief lull just after 1.00 pm.
2.4°C at Scott’s Peak (508m ASL) precip accumulating.
The stuff falling in Adelaide is a lot colder now. Hope it makes it's way east
Showers were coming and going today at Westernport while driving to surf, after surfing and on the way home. That water is COLD!
Maatsuyker Island ducked down to 4.9ºC momentarily from 7.4ºC @ 7pm tonight (3.5ºC drop in 3 mins).
With a drop like that on a Island you'd expect a hailshower of sorts
Maatsuyker Island hit it's diurnal low of 4.6ºC @3:06pm yesterday.
Clocking up 150km/h winds.
Meanwhile it's a blue bird day on Mount Field with 5-10cm of pow (still on -1.0ºC).
Warra saw 35mm (~500m) so somewhere above 600m may have seen +20cm.
Looks like system that’s been hanging around these past several days is finally clearing out.....Started cloudy but has been contracting. Still overcast at Moonbah however the peaks have cleared. Nice mild day up the hill with low winds. Hoping temps drop very soon though .....
