Yeah it's like, will the ECL giveth then taketh away!Buller. It came and it went this morning. Then it came back this afternoon (as graupel). No doubt it will go again shortly. I'm too pessimistic to believe anything might actually stick! Especially at 2.1 degrees. I took a photo so I can look back on the day the ground actually went white and reminisce!
I can.The Snowfalls at Perisher late this morning were a pleasant surprise. Despite some nice sago early on, followed by wet flakes that got bigger and bigger, the playing surface was tricky. It reminded me of spring conditions, sticky snow in places, then not, then sticky again etc. I waited a while and returned to the playing surface only to find it hadn't changed, so bailed accordingly. I guess it's the mild temps, but can't recall this effect in June before??
That moisture actually isn't what's due on the MR.Next band of goodies about just hitting Adelaide with some colder air attached. Promising for tomorrow for the MR.
Must be going to take a left turn then... coming in from the WNW at the moment...That moisture actually isn't what's due on the MR.
That'll push north into central and northern NSW, while the moisture on the MR will come in from the south-east and from the Tasman Sea.
