Looking good for 20-30cm overnight. Best chance to experience powder for the rest of 2016 IMO, come Tomorrow arvo or Wednesday morning. Cloudy but no rain in Matlock ATM.

Patiently waiting for insurance assessor to arrive, observing persistent rain and hills shrouded in mist, not that cold though.

Am loving this cyclical weather we're having...cold fronts delivering 10-20mm, follow up troughs/fronts with pulses of showers and colder temps, then warming up, before we do it all again.
Only thing I'd change would be the nasty NW winds before the fronts.

Roof is rumbling here in Brighton, and radar shows we're about to get another dose

    Im sick of it.
This is meant to hit in August.
Im ready for the warm sun and long arvos now.

Not wind and rain and cold.

Weather this time of the year should be warm sunny days followed by arvo storms

There's a distinct chill to the air reminiscent of winter this arvo.

Reasonably heavy rain in the CBD at the moment

Nice brisk air on the face for the walk into Melbourne this morning, beautiful morning.

Cedarwood cam at FC looks nice, 10-15cm?

Good pic that can clearly see the fault line that blocked the river/ck outlet that caused Lake George.

I'm exactly the same. If we pick up another 15-20mm in Melbourne, it'll have been quite a wet week. Up in the Yarra Valley they've had over 60mm this week, so it'd be good for our storages to bank some more water before summer.

MTB trails have been closed at Lysterfield, I expect other parks to follow suit. Normally this would be OK, but last week there were idiots riding during the high winds, and when trees came down they continued to ride and completely destroyed the trails by riding around fallen trees and mud, creating sub tracks and just a mess everywhere. So because of these idiots, no one can go anywhere.

Most of em are pretty spread out, they dont go out and put a sign in front of each one do they?
I assume they post it on the website?
