Be interested in seeing the map again for the coming days with lower temps on the forecast
Whole country map would be interesting also
Perisher now quoting -10 in the village, -4.4 up top.
Temps bouncing around all over the place at Perisher last night, with -11.9C at 2.30am.
Back at -9.3 in the village right now. Blue Cow Live cam show very productive snow making. Even Excelerator looks to be well covered.

Me too, I thought they were landing in Port Melbourne before, they got almost to ground level I'd say - then they fired up the gas and went back up, drifting off over St Kilda and beyond

Is that a thing?
Have you seen snow in the air when it's raining at the airport or do you just pass through the clouds so quickly you can't really tell?
Descending into Queenstown Airport a few years ago it was dumping snow as we flew down the lake at maybe 800-900m then rain down at the airport at 300m.
BOM forecast says 900m.
Snowing 1/3 way down Mt Macedon tallies with that quite well.
Haven't looked at this morning's sounding though.
Does the Mt Macedon Forcefield still operate in such cold conditions?
Team Bears observe present temp in Ballarat is a miserable 6degC!
Given that the weather is coming from the SSW, Macedon is not in play.

Certainly was a cold Melbourne winters day today. We barely scraped to 11c at 2pm, the rest of the day we hovered between 7-10. It's good to feel this kind of cold, however fleeting it may be
Not the mountains but just had a short sharp shower pass through from the NW here on Syd nthn beaches. Epic sunset but missed the pic.
