I'm guessing there is plenty of microclimate action in the Jindy area leading to significant variations im temp and even precip at times over small distances.

+7°C at Cooma so you’d think Jindy would sitting within a degree or two of that.

    Peri Snow Stake showing 5-7cm.
    10.4mm at Peri BoM AWS

Buller showing the steps in the village covered so perhaps 5cm there?
With perhaps a cm or so to come, pretty good model verification, I’d say. I know Jane was expecting 10cm across the resorts in her bulletin last night.

Sounds like it's all blown to the Pilot Wilderness.

Surprising to see not skerrick of snow making (not even Friday flat etc.). SM Conditions are ripe for the picking, out of the wind.
Cracking morning on the Thredbo cams all the same.

I think you will find that is a private weather station at Lakewood, and I suspect it belongs to one of the IT propeller heads at Perisher. It is badly sited, it never agrees with any of my readings. I wouldn't give it much credence. I don't claim mine is any better, just an observation.

Whiskey Flat, Dinner Plain, Mt. Stirling, Mt. Baw Baw and Lake Mtn. all got a couple of centimetres of snow overnight. It looks quite dry and fresh , just going by the snow cameras, not wet slop. I would , in a non plague riddled world drive up to XC ski at Whiskey Flat but alas it is not to be.

It looks like it is snowing this morning at TBJ.
The resort is reporting 3 cms all over the hill top to bottom
    https://www.mtstirling.com.au/snow-report/

I am in Lockdown in Lepersville but trying to keep the XC ski stoke and froth going . It feels a bit hollow but here are some photos from Plague i stani ski locations.

Baw Baw got some snow , almost rock hopper stuff for the SDS affected , but with no base what will become of it?. Plus BB is shut on weekdays during the year of the plague.

Falls Creek and the table o meter
XC ski report from Falls Ck. says they got 5 cms overnight
    https://www.fallscreek.com.au/xcreport/

Whiskey Flat got a top up which I presume the Mt. Hotham skidoo driver will groom for XC skiing.
    https://www.mthotham.com.au/on-mountain/conditions/lifts-terrain
The resort web site reports Davenport to Whiskey Flat is open for XC skiing.
Here is a May 27th 2020 shot for a comparison.

Regardless of the totals, the wind was our friend. It was an important weather event (wind and snowfall) as it definitely helped to pack the existing snowpack and finally made off piste skiing a little safer.....IMO only.

It ranged from exposed ice to 10 cms. A little more in drifts. Sago clearly visible. Much fun to ski on.
