Little embedded low in the first front bringing some storms for @Adelaide
Feels to warm and has been all night , lowest temp at the high perch was 3.8c. My guess would be rain only so far ,4.2mm for me. Temps should drop tonight and next couple od nights but I guess most of the moisture will already be gone by then.

Very, very windy at higher elevations. Low Visibility due to fog and a couple of degrees. One gust recorded at PV bang on 100 kph... some snow loss due to rain.
Round 2 is on the way.
Some more weather for SA on radar.
2 degs sleety/snow mix late this arvo on Ben Lomond , it would be snowing now for sure
Unless this ECL forms up and sends it from the south to smash Thredbo I doubt there will be much new resort whiteness.
Yes I didn’t realise an ECL wasn’t a given.
should form off Nowra today when the front / trough moves over the warm water.

Bit of frost visible down low at Thredbo but otherwise NSW looking sunny and dry.
Rotation over the bendigo doughnut
Light snow falling and settling at hotham. Not unexpected or surprising. The complete stilness/lack of wind is the what is strange.
Vic's Alpine region is at the centre of the low's formation.
Best depicted by models (950mb shear plot equates to winds ~800m elevation).
Looking out the window at Buller direction there's snow just on the top bit of the pinnacle. So snow down to 1400m.
Similar up here. Cold with not a breeze at all.
Can see it in the distance just sitting atop the mountains with the front edge overhead.
Certainly cold enough at the high perch ,just nudging 2c ,no wind and no precipitation atm.
Falls creek in the negatives and a big evil slow moving blob spiralling into NE Vic.
it looks just like the blob in the "5th Element".
Radar in agreement.
I do like bsch for the short range forecasts.
have found it to be very good for rainfall too .
The low is weak as atm. May benefit when and if it goes over the eddy current off the coast.
Very light precipitation just starting at the high perch ,temp 1.7c ,no wind
What's your elevation Kelpieboy?
Some nice flakes now starting to fall on the baw baw cams!
Yet Iook at the perisher cams and I see blue skies ,cloud not rising over the hump ?
Looking at the models and radar ...its happening exactly as progged.
