Wooohoooo visible snow from the train station high up. Colour change is marching down the mountains in places. For months I have called 1st lift access for mid Nov. Maybe I will be right :)

ahhh not proof, just love looking and living vicariously when I'm not there.

this time of the year is very exciting - the anticipation and the teasing of what's to come

Maybe we could run a ski.com.au tipsters round each season? ;)

I've heard dissenting opinions but my two bob is this:
    • Won't be any better than 2014/15
    • Won't be any worse than 2015/16
Anything in between will be a good to excellent season

Why do I automatically think "redrum" when I see this hotel? ;)

Nope. Its been warm. Nagano was 30 yesterday and at 4pm Hakuba was still 22 :(

On the upside the colour change is most of the way down now which is early. We are all ready to ride (except finishing off our new apartments lol)

Feeling like early Nov late this afternoon. Wind is up a little and temp is down and precip looks likely. Wont be a surprise if the peaks get snow tonight and over the weekend.

We have about 500 Land Rovers in town this weekend to celebrate 70 years of manufacture. Could be a fun drive on the Iimori skijo. :)
