Hi,

I have finally got around to processing my backcountry photos from last year. Some will have seen a few already. Sorry, but they are cleaned up now and look a bit better.

To all those seeking adventure in the Northern Winter, good luck to you, and to that guy who has been to Europe and US and posted some brilliant TR's, Good on ya....Mark I think it was.

I have just moved to Canberra, and will be keen to meet up with some locals when it gets colder for the odd weekend trip on Main Range.

I will add captions soon.

Anyway:

Not as nice as it looks. Very heavy, unstable snow. Main Gully off peak.

After a night of extreme wind. There had been a foot or snow in the past day, but as you see, all blown off that night. I'm supprised we didn't actually.

Challenge - where is this. my opinion, hardest run in Vic. I camped up at sentinel a few weeks ago, and concede that that area has harder runs....Crags......jee whiz.

The feathertop one which you desribed as having heavy snow reminded me of why (despite my username) I now love my board out the back!!!

Yeah, I would probably agree if I had ever ridden! Then again, would disagree when it came to the long skin in. Woa is all I can say for those who dont have skins/scales
