snowing now - we'll need a whole lot though to make that ugliness disappear.

Yeah, I doubt there’d be much more terrain re-opened, but even just 10 – 20cms, if nothing else but for appearances cos that pic Toff posted shows one butt-ugly skidmark.

some sad news....

The toboggan slopes have again been assessed and due to insufficient snow cover, all toboggan areas at Mt Buller and Mt Stirling will be closed on Wednesday 7th September 2011. This status will be re-assessed at the end of the day.

We would appreciate if you could please advise your customers accordingly.

Hmm - how do you get on that email list from Mt Buller? When the snow is shite or non-existent at LM, I often get customers hiring stuff to go tobogganing at Buller. I need to know if/when it's not operating there. Normally, I just check their toboggan run cam.

Which currently shows plenty of people tobogganing on a fresh man made cover of snow!!!

Steeper than what is currently open at Buller........ and MUCH more snow.

We all know that when the snow delivers BULLER is probably the best mountain in Australia. I STILL haven't been to Thredbo so it's a little hard to compare....

But at the moment Perisher is delivering great skiing/boarding.

Yeh it's a little flat but I'd rather have a choice of a runs than just be stuck on LBS/Bourke St/Summit on man-made

But if you don't show you're a slut and show some sort of exclusivity or scarcity, they're willing to pay more for you.

They are willing to pay more ???

Do you mean they (Buller) are going to try to charge more for tickets etc because they know you are loyal ? and will pay it anyway ?

You know what a shy little thing I am, so no matter how welcome it might be, I won’t be showing any more than I already have.

So you are not willing to sl*t yourself around for good skiing ? As in traveling around for a good deal or good snow ?

I thought you were going to Tahoe

See for some people it's not about slutting themselves around, it's about appearing like something to other people, in this case as a wanchor. It elevates his social standing from where it really is.

woo hoo they are open again.... wonder if that will keep them off Bourke Street ???

The toboggan slopes have again been assessed and due to sufficient snow cover from snow making, the Village toboggan area at Mt Buller will be open on Friday 9th September 2011. All other toboggan areas at Mt Buller and Mt Stirling will be closed. This status will be re-assessed at the end of the day.

Buller is my first love, but I confess, I’m faithful only as long as Buller remains a chilly-hearted dude, otherwise I'll take my goods elsewhere. And yes, Tahoe behaved most atrractively last season so I’ll definitely swoosh about there again.

And here I was thinking I was just one of the guys too.

But now, I really have to get going cos they get into such a hissy when I'm late for my man-wax appointment.

If it's true that La Nina is making a comeback, then Tahoe will behave most attractively again this season.

. . . Umm, but just double-checking, this is 4-share with costs split 4 ways, yeah? Soooo, lemme guess, you’re thinking 25% divided between you three guys, while I pick up the other 75%??

It's hard enough to split the costs as they are so small as it is!

$3000 for a whole month for a 4 bed condo
$2000 for a massive SUV for a month

We need to discuss so we can send off enquiry emails for accomm and see if we can get that 4 bedroom, 6 queen bed place with hot tub.

MX indicated he wanted a room with two queen beds and 3 flight attendants.

6:45 pm and I already think that I'll never take two smallk children to the snow ever again. Brief snow showers when we arrived at 4:30 pm. A couple of cm on the ground that is very dry. Very difficult to make snowballs.
