IMO with the new facebook page layout, just posting on a page's wall isn't very visible, better to chuck something in the comments of a post the page owner has made

True that, I'll try with FB alias number 6

Ah Mt Buller - Lying and deceiving customers again are we with your latest competition?

Also some pretty crappy prizes.... $60 of value with these ones, when "All photos submitted become the property of Buller Ski Lifts and the Mt Buller Resort Management and may be used for promotional purposes at our discretion."

I'd be wanting more than $60 to have my photo used everywhere.

Now back to the LYING

As of today there is 23 days to go so get creative and score yourself some prizes. Up for grabs for the first few days are some double passes to the sold out Melbourne screening of Warren Millers, Like There’s No Tomorrow.

Does NOT look sold out to me, well the first session is nearly full but it is NOT sold out

FAIL again Mt Buller

I would ask them about being "Sold Out" but I'll just get banned from their Facebook page......

Good!

While they are lying and deceiving, they are not encouraging people to purchase anything to enter the competition so there are no regulations broken.

It's just more poor social media handling

I see no need to lie and say the show is sold out, when it is not......

Just say "highly popular" or something....

Just saying, is it possible that Buller has bought a block of tickets for a partic session(s)? And reasonably expects that in the near future the session will be full? I don't want to defend them, but...

Sorry I deleted my post as I assumed it would be NO.

Ok that’s good news…menu can be limited to hot dogs, lasagna, jam donuts, apple pie and coffee!

Skidown - there was something wrong with your second pic - you might want to get your camera looked at.

Anyway, I fixed the shot for you...

Those who know me will appreciate I usually do more with maps. But the iPad makes that tricky.

sorry guys, looks like the VS cam is not going to be up before Opening WE. Bloody Telstra didn't reconnect the phone line yet and doesn't look like it will be activated until the end of the month - they're busy and they forgot to call............

There's a slim chance they might get a tech there today after I gave them a hefty serve yesterday afternoon, but I'm not holding my breath.

I'll post some pics later if there's anything worth looking at.

All good - I doubt there will be much to get UBER excited about prior ro QBWE anyway.

QBWE itself should be epic even without snow

Wouldn't surprise. If that blob of moisture over Melbourne continues to spin and hit Buller, it could drop 30cm of sierra cement (which is ideal for this time of year).

This just opinion of course, but if the weather lines up they will bust their balls to open early.

They get so much free media and PR from early snowfalls it's not funny. I've literally heard of early snowmaking being paid for out of the marketing budget at another resort.

I'm at a wedding next Sat night so won't be there if they do open.
