Looking for a ski buddy or buddies for a trip to NZ in July 2018. Not fussed where although have done Coronet Peak and Remarks before so was thinking of Cardrona or Mt Hutt. I'm 57 so was looking for blokes of a similar age and circumstance i.e. children have grown up and now have other things to do or prefer to hit the slopes with "cool" friends.

Tell em you'll pay, watch em swarm, then tell em you've changed your mind and prefer to hang out with old blokes that you've never met. BAM!!!! LOL

Maybe base yourself in Wanaka so you can ski Cardrona and Treble Cone? Mt Hutt is a good 5 hour drive away up near Christchurch. Wanaka is a lovely town and full of skiers in the winter which would help make it easier for you to meet people to ride with

On a serious note: if you don't get any bites here (from old blokes like me) you could look at signing up for a adult ski improvement programme which run for 5 days. Or alternatively adult group lessons to your ability. That way you will meet like minded adults etc. I know Treble Cone runs a weekly programme and both hills in Wanaka (Cardrona & TC) have adult group lessons for beginner, intermediate and advanced skiers.
