I observe that you will have increased confidence in your tent.

Weather ob..stupid warm in the lower blue mountains. I also observe with a whopping 0.6mm recorded at springwood wx that our region has obviously been participating in "dry july'.

Pretty hideous at Falls. Persistent light rain, low vis, windy. Had a coffee at windy corner and heading back down to the ranch. Don't want to ruin the memory of Epic Friday with a wet soggy slog today. Win some lose some

Heading up to new digs at Hotham this arvo so would be nice if there was a little snow at the tail end of today but I don't really see it

Rain was short-lived at Buller, now just foggy and a bit breezy. Snow has gone pretty sticky as it was light and dry and warmed up quick.

 B.Jes.s that must have been one evening....sorry for wandering off topic....
Windchill would have been horrific....your experienced weather was probably worse than that recorded at Thredbo Top Station as you are higher up and more exposed..
Currently negative 0.5 at TTS. Wind moderated gusting up to 57km/hr now....averaging about 46km/hr.wind from NNW still.windchill currently negative 11.7......;)
    Nice pics this morning....

I observe a cloud feed from NW , fast moving Cirrus underlayed by even faster moving Stratus ( I think) , should be visible in NSW hills I guess. Temps are a disgusting 8c atm. Very little wind at ground level however.

Just landed back in Sydney after a few days in chilly Melbourne.
Went for a walk and felt like a summer night.... hmmm. Not great for the Alpine environment!

Was close to 0 most of the day at Falls. Little rain in the morning but then the sun came out. I spent the day on the beginner slopes so can't really comment on state of the mountain

Quite remarkable the difference in snow yesterday (dry, a little icy) and today (slushy/sticky) at Buller.
