Mount Ginini went into the negs at 530 pm. Been raining steadily in Woden
Steady rain near Jindy. I'm sure there will be a few flakes under the southerly in the middle of the night when I am too busy in dream world to notice it.After a wild morning turning to lovely rain we now have heavy snow falling on the Jindy North Shore.
Due South system ....
Snowing heavily at Crackenback, accumulating, no wind. Ski at home in the morning.
I like this, but am sobsad, was meant to be staying in DP this night and skiing Hotham all this week.
What a shame...still send it down Hughey so we have a chance to enjoy it when/if they decide to let some people out...fingers are crossed!!! Looks amazing.

The locality of Wandella, about 10km Norwest of Cobargo (now famous for bushfire). Cobargo is on the Princes Hwy inland from Bermagui.
We are at the foothills of the Coast Range really. The snow in those pics is at around 1100 metres up to the highest of 1300 metres, the headwaters of the Tuross River.

The Hotham to Dinner Plain XC ski trails are looking first rate this morning. Usually I would be snow camping at JB hut this week in August and XC skiing this terrain.
Let us all hope for more actual skiing in 2022.
Look at the fence posts in the foreground of this web capture from the snow cameras at Lake Mtn. . That would be 5 cms of snow IMHO.

I skinned and skied at lower elevations up near Smiggs. Deep snow in the wind drifts. Hard going on the uphill into strong head and crosswind and drifts that were at times, 30 - 50 cms deep. In terms of snow quality - I found it skied quite ok but a few others struggled. Just one of those oddities.

Are NSW skifields due any more from the system?reports of snow at Katoomba, radar showing 1 deg and heavy rain, Inlaws reporting sleet at Lithgow.
Baw Baw has done quite well out of this cold front.
The Bogong Rover chalet snow camera shows that the B.H.P. at 1650 M . ASL have had a good top up
of snow.
Been observing the snow level accumulate along the fence next to the Frost Bite Cafe on High Noon Thredbo since last night...easily 30-40 cm added to High Noon
