20cm Monday imo
BOM have downgraded moisture, but upgraded temps for the MR (ie lower temps)
Strong cold front through Sunday Monday
This Sunday / Monday?
Can't see squat over the alps.
BOM going -10 to -2 top station.......Mon and Tues
There's nothing there IMO
What there is, is blocked by Tasmania.
I'd be shocked if we see even 1cm out of this.
So, if we moved Tasmania....?
Those charts are wrong.... Or incorrect.
Here is EC at 72
You could marry your sister/mother/daughter.....
Nuffin there. (IMO)
And your kids might need 3 skis each!
So have even numbers so you can get best value out of the extra ski purchase
Just looking at that, you never know, those little blobs have to be hard to predict?
Snow down to 250m asl in tassey with Tommoz nights front!
Yep, it's going to be a shock to the system after this weekend's warmth. Some savage frosts in the mix too this week...
Monday and Tuesday very cold but also very dry. A bit in it for Tas. but 1-5cm for B.B. and the rest will have to wait until the next system.
Be following tassey with this one, interesting to see how low there snow gets?
Fantastic alignment of temps in the atmos profile for tomorrow ~10pm. Snow should easily fall to ~300m ASL in the SW of Tas IMO. If the DGZ is there, it could fall to just below 200m IMO.
Below is for Maatsuyker Island (10pm tomorrow):
I reckon southern vic could get pretty chilly with this one as well? IMO
528 line is not far away at all through Tommoz night early Monday morning
Maybe 5-10mm with it.
Both gfs and accessg look to have slightly upgraded in regards to how cold this thing could get.
Nah, you've got some warm air advection at around 700mb, so might get as low as 800m Monday 4 am for your area IMO, drying up pretty quick by then too.
Personally, I'm just watching this one as it's a little unique.... We have a low that started life in the bight, headed north through SA, tickled NT, took a right turn into QLD and is currently feeding off Coral Sea moisture and building rotation over Hungerford.
Tomorrow, it will take a trip to Newcastle where it will deepen and really start to feed. IT will then drift South where it will get a solid kick up the ass from the next cold front....
Thanks to the lows rotation, the cold front will then get slungshot north back towards the Gong and SydCo....
Predicting this one is like herding cats... sit back and just enjoy. In My Opinion.
