Barreling through Melbourne City now, driving rain and lots of wind - not pleasant out on the balcony for a gander just now.

    Lovely stuff.

Very wet snow fell over night at Mount Wellington in Victoria. This morning I could see the snow line about 1500m. By midday all the snow in the sun had melted.

o_O you ever taken a look at the VS cam at Buller........? Live right now and it works in the dark (for about the last 6 or 7 years at least)

It is hammering down in Hawthorn and the radar is insane.

Not in a while. It’s as good for Melbournians seeking rain , as it is for skiers.

Didn't notice it raining at all until I went out to the back-room.
Of course the cats have no intention of going out there tonight and are happily snuggled in front of the fire.

Mmmm ........ So the moisture at Perisher dried up before the temps were set. We're primed now. So hopefully this one pushes north.

Yeah it doesn’t look like the low is pushing the trough up enough.
You’d want it to push a fair bit more tonight.

The line of projection for the alps is out near Stawell/Horsham.
The alps won't see any of that band passing through Melbs, proper.

it's a live feed in so far as it refreshes every 10 mins. If it's hung on 8.00pm, that's cos the power is out at Buller so you aint getting a live feed anywhere there, which we can't control. What's Apira doing?

There is a light there but due to the IP changing so often now I cant access the remote switch for it or temp gauges.
So my intention is to remove the temp gauge and swap the remote lamp control with a timer to turn it on every night during winter season.

Not sure when Ill be up there, maybe before QBWE as I have a bracket to fit the the Village Square cam to shift it forward a bit and clear the railing so we dont get ice curtain over it that hangs from the railing.
It will also put the view a tad left of the current view to get a little more of the Village Square and garden like we originally had.
I also read that the Ethernet cable is worn near the door so that needs fixing too so Ill have to look into that @luvthabumps

Perhaps this is a great track for Baw Baw & maybe Lake Mtn? Possibly Mt Tassie (700m in Stretzleckis) in the wee hours? With luck?

yes around 9mm around Moorabbin (SE Melb subs) - quite wild & wet ~9pm.
