Reports of snowing at Buller RN
Heavy band of rain inner south Melbourne, currently 9C.
Radar looks nice. Not sure why I’m leaving this arvo....
Dates amended to include 31st Aug.
Nice big flakes falling now at Buller after a bit of a pause.
I’m quite wet after half an hour of riding around in the Melb Eastern Suburbs.
I guess the odd day of work here or there won't hurt you.
Looks like decent snow falling at Baw Baw.
Yeah need to get a few things squared away so I can spend most of September at Buller.
Looking like a fair amount is coming down....
Bar some massive rain event and plus some top ups, I’d imagine I would be up for much of the last week of the season. And they may extend it too. September could be big.
What's your definition of the last week of the season (i.e. the date range)?
The last week lifts run I meant. Week preceding the 29th of September.
Obviously the BC season is just getting started then.
2-3cm at Buller
Road, roofs etc were dry a couple of hours ago
Snowing nicely at Baw Baw
Buller and BB have had a nice top up Still going at BB
Just got back to Melb, was snowing quite hard driving down the mountain, down to about 1300m, was rainy on the road until about Bonnie Doon but pretty clear thereafter.
Looks like a sneaky 5-7cm at Buller:
AWS says 12mm so maybe more up higher?
Dusting at Perisher
3 cents at Dinner Plain, and still snowing lightly ❄️
Snowing at Moonbah 1100 ASL. Nice flakes falling and no wind at all for a change!
Looks like a few cms at PV so far.
Satellite images are nice - they show the SW flow pretty clearly. Was expecting to see more east in it.
Good cold temps at thredbo and perisher but only 1.8mm of precip registered so far.
Snow on tussock down the hill and no doubt dusty crusty up the hill. 1170m Hill Top gentle snow with no wind. Last day of a month off.
8cm at Buller and also a Bluebird.
About 3cm on the car in Woodbridge Thredbo this morning. Looking like a decent day.
5-6cm at Donna Buang overnight.

Snowing south Perisher
Every little bit helps. Chug chug chug...
That’s coolish at minus 10.5 at PV BOM. My weather app showing -11.6......and a nice top up to go with it.....
This system snuck up with some quite cold temps. Wasn't expecting that. Here is 24 hr temperature profile for Selwyn. Lots of snowmaking going on. Gonna cop a flogging temp wise this week, so all top ups welcome.
Observed this morning over a cup of cuffee... if you cant join in enjoy the cams!
