Phase one looks pretty.
Phase two looks moist, lot's of bright white cloud.
If that cloud over WA and that low in the bite meet.
Thredbo is the windiest place in Australia at the moment (NNW 57km/h).

19deg and spots of rain here and there in mildura.
Normally if its 16and rain this tends to be snow from past few years observations.
The first system is far to warm for snow. It only gets interesting on Saturday.

According to BOM - both PV and TTS - it's currently pissing down up on the hill tonight. Radar looks bleak for many hours yet. Hopefully this is the final sacrifice to the gods for the coming season - and the evil child will ensure no more rain events again until September!

Cant see any white stuff on the FC cams
Cold change hasn't moved through FC although it can't be far away. Still showing 1.4
Buller down to -0.8
And Baw Baw at -0.7
Hotham just gone into the negatives now.
Was very mild this morning in Albury
Sundays cold system just appearing at the bottom of the satellite pic below the bite.
Temps bumping around, Buller around zero, Hotham +ve again, Falls warmer still.
Cold pool looks fairly shallow.
Convergence = positive numbers ?
and divergence is negative ?

I observe it's cold enough now.. -2.3 Hotham
Looks like snow on the Blue Cow cams + the guns are firing on Perisher FV.

I observed it was a great day at the top of feathertop yesterday.
Was surprised to see a few tiny rements of of snow as well.
ground was COLD, air was cold, wind was cold....bring on winter!

Good winter weather Sunny here in Burn City, nice walk into the G for work this morning. I observe the Sat pic looks angry, I like the mass of low cloud/moisture in the cold pool. Looks lined up perfectly IMO

Was a lovely morning out on the bike here in Elwood along beach road. Was a tad gusty at times coming back from Mordy.
Sitting on the couch now and that NW is starting to blow.
That low is marching its way up ready for impact tomorrow arvo/evening.
For the Vicco surfers, there might be a few hours tomorrow just before the change hits that could see some serious swell with good winds. Ill be down WP tomorrow so ill try get some piccys of the front moving through from that area.
It was sure breezy punching up back to Melbourne. It has clouded over now, odd spot of rain.
Got blown all over the Hume driving back to Canberra today after the meetup with the Sydney crew last night.

Just did the same drive (to Canberra for a night) plenty of wind blowing me all over the road- got a real chill to the wind, feeling the winter in the air. Sydney Eastern Suburbs 11am grey skies, Canberra 2pm sunshine.
