Only 5cm of fresh on ground at Hotham :(
On the plus side, winds have subsided.
Watching status of Snow Road, Myrtleford (flooding reported by VicRoads in area)
Only of concern if you are taking Harrietville approach (probably 1% of people in here)
    Just light snow showers ATM.
    Take care and stay safe.

If it could just stall there the alps will be in business. The sat pic looks to be filling in around the western NSW/VIC border on the national radar loop. Looking good for a bit later.

1013hPa or 101.3 kPa for 20th century students. But the watered down value is 100 kPa for 21st century Physics students. The Maths was deemed too hard!!!!!!!!.... W

And like that it has gone again. Showers streaming down though on and off.

Wish me luck, flight to Perth this evening at 6:50pm. Hopefully it will not be too turbulent.

I observe Wang only needs another 4mm overnight to break their all time September record. Yes it has been wet north of the divide.

Had everything this afternoon at Perisher. Wet snow, sago and then when we left at about 3.45 it started hammering down. Stopped by Wilsons Valley (1440m). Was starting to settle. 6 degrees where we are staying.

Skinned up the Ramble, down Shadow Ridge, back up, then down the Y's this arvo at Falls (apparently they shut lifts this morning due to winds). Snow down Shadow and the top of Y's was 10-15cm deep, and well......skiable.....wind was calmish and viz good enough. Started snowing again at 4 when we left, and has mostly kept raining since in Mt Beauty. Hoping for better tomorrow :)

Update from the kayakers - "Ended up doing some munyang laps (from guthega power station to island bend), the last one while it was snowing which was interesting. Hopefully it gets a bit warmer soon"

A bit warmer, you don't say.
