Mostly clear with a few lower level clouds.
Cold.
Windy here at Perisher. Car said 4 degrees
Mt P covered by clouds.
My weather station at Buller is on Wunderground with a 5 minute interval:

It reads a bit warmer than the AWS due being a bit lower & less exposed and also building radiant heat, but good to see the trends.
Annoying there isn't a graph for air pressure, there is on my software backend but I'm not sure I can share that without logging in.

Speaking of which; speckled jim appears to be hitting the S.A coast now, Temperatures consistently 11 degrees around the Mt Gambier Radar area, pretty chilly. Incoming cold weather for sure.

Not an alpine observation but it's wet in Orange, temp is dropping 1 degree every 10 minutes at the moment
Just had a few drops ,less than 1mm ,but temp dropped from 10.3c to 8.4c over last 30 minutes at the High Perch.
Radar looks like moisture now coming through Tumut ,Talbingo ,Kiandra so not far away. Doesn't look much from the south or southwest though.

I can share the Ecowitt data but the share link expires every 30 days and it also shares the internal temps, which pretty much shows whether we are there or not and I don't really want that data in the wild.

And looking from a bit further out…Lake Jindabyne in the far distance. Its still mild here at around 14 degrees with earlier winds having dropped off.
Mines from a cheap chinese camera, which I would happily put live online, but all the solutions I have tried don't seem that reliable.^^^^

Meantime I note that low cloud has been hanging around PV at low levels and has thickened here as well. Slowly it is changing but temps remain mild for now.

Mount William in Western Vic down to 2.2°C at 1150m ASL
Mount William (1,150 m) now on 0 °C with some precipitation accumulated.
Here @ 948 m in the South West Slopes it's currently 6.6 °C, still under the pre-frontal NW'er.
This isn't a southerly system, and besides we're rainshadowed from that direction. Look instead to the west.

Absolutely loving it, I'm wearing my black tactical-neck thermal for the first time this year and loving it!
I note a station in Daylesford VIC at just 3 °C currently. Coordinates give an elevation of 563 m AMSL.
Power is out at my place at Buller so cam won't be online until about 4pm.
Final temp reading at 8:10 was 0.5c

Woke to view of fog and a damp mildness rather than bank of snow cloud on the range this morning. Looking forward to what tomorrow morning brings.
I observe Dinner Plain got down to zero point something this morning.
