So close to the table. And still snowing at Buller.
Amazing video on snowsearch FB. Groomer building a trench
All the snow.
Tassie ski association have voiced concerns about avi danger all the rodway range and below the Mawson cornice.
I observe Perisher have reported another 15cm in the past 24 hours: 147cm out of this week's blizzard(s) in total
Looks like those 10 day projections were close
I can confirm there is bulk snow at Mt Stirling. Probed multiple locations along and around Bluff Spur yesterday, reading excess of 150cm everywhere. Bulk snow.
I'm sure that with with time driving a groomer, like all jobs, would become boring, but looking at that it seems inconceivable.
Starting to flake up on Friday flat
It continues to deliver @ Smigs & next door is disappearing.
Anyone know where this is? Apparently perisher.
Am guessing Guthega?
Get into it mate!!
Hit Bushranger into Dream Run, High Noon trees skiiers right off Anton's access trail, Maybe Stanley's if the weather clears up
There aren't too many double chairs at perisher with foot rests
Can't be Pretty Valley, maybe the Carpark Double at Guthega?
I am sooooo pissed I'm missing this.
I may die before it happens again
My wife's timing of babies sucks!
You put it in her mate.
but that aside.... ditto.
Our cladding which desperately needs replacing is being nicely hidden from view
I am pretty sure it's the Early Starter Double at Blue Cow. According to PSR reports.
Oh yes I think you're right there! Only Blue Cow has foot rests on the chairs at Perisher.....you win
I am so pissed I'm missing this too but only due to lack of $$ / leave
Above 1500m is the go in thredbo. Clagging a little below that, despite grapule still falling to village level.just got the 6th t-bar up Antons. Bit of fun, despite the vis. Winds 'ain't bad at all.
No lift lines, as per September.
The 5-10 overnight has settled well in the lighter wind.
I suspect that to be the case everywhere. Unsurprisingly.
From Baw Baw fb page.
Next week lift ticket pricing - only pay what the temp is at 8 am!! Pretty good deal.
Michael's cornice should be massive!
Based on that report, the other side should be good if the weather allows for opening to get to GCB
Funny that eh. I think we all mentioned that earlier in the week.
Some fellas I know camped in the car park last night and apparently it was drizzling all night.
Eagles Nest... I think lol
I'm missing it as well, by choice, young one, changing jobs, lot happening blah blah....
But I must say it 'felt' warm on the morning dog and work walks in Queanbeyam / ACT - hope the snow stays in good nick for all my friends heading BC this WE.
PS I'll ride this storm, in sping corn mode in October
Snow down to ~300m in southern tas again this morning. Few cents settling in the smug tiers.
Is that the wall that keeps the blue dead guys at bay?
Vis improving up high.
*text 'stop' to 1800 shouldabeenhere
Looking like an EPIC touring season hey, disaster aside, maybe into December (drift skiing) Certainly a shot for another NY day ski @Telemark Phat @zac150 ! 2004 I skied 6 December on good drifts, Yay!
Ma gawd... check out the Mt P cam. So much depth
Snowing steadily here at Perisher. A little wetter than yesterday; melting on jackets. But cover is exceptional, snow literally anywhere you'd like to go.
Also observing more crowds, lift queues are lengthening. A bit more visibility would help now. This weekend will be a bunfight...
I observe today's generation of dads are softies..
4 kids being born didn't stop a Ramshead powder day and we didn't have FaceTime.
Would love another NY Day ski (with helmet this time) but will be O/S.
I'm definantly up for a couple of December trips, might even try Jagungal once the road opens.
With the increase in popularity of the man boob, they now have to do breast feeding duties.
Women are luckier today than before IMO. Good on them.
Guthega Car Park ..but not sure it has foot rests?? Early Starter at Blue Cow I think is more like it..
Yep I confirmed it was Early Starter before.
What colour is your jacket POW? I'll keep a lookout for you.
I've seen one of the French pro patrollers ski down the "front face" of Eagles Nest when it was like that.
Puking at cruiser. But double points if you can spot me downing this big bertha. Haha
Snow continues down to 2-300m in Southern Tas.
What if it's frosty and minus 2 at 8-00 am? Do they pay you?
Nah then its free!! First thing my hubby asked too, lel.
Wow Bushranger into Dreamrun ---- interesting link up! Maybe the Glades!?
Down Thredbo Valley
Did someone say this thing is a Behemoth ? My legs are sore.
Just back from Perisher. Was still snow showers down to ski rider at 1c around 11:30 am. Had fun at North P some lines out there I had not ridden in I don't know how long. The snow was good up high the bottom 1/3rd a little heavy but really can't complain about the quality of riding during this week....
Or is it up?
