Yeah nah. Just getting old and lazy .
Cruiser? If Merritts chair was close to the deck, I'd be getting a little concerned
Edit: post number 1,111. Wow!
Ah yeah Cruiser.
A bit of action on the radar to the south of melb.. Nice chill in the breeze
Suns out in Melb ...wind pretty light..stuff all rain so far today.
Dinking around at Smigs in the trees is a little different from top to bottom Thredbo...
We all took baby steps at first.
Well it was sunny ....first squall of the day passing through Sth eastern Subs....
Instead of sheep graziers warning we should have a diesel alert warning....
Snowing again at BB ...
North is up.
Though you're looking down.
Jindy is a mild 7. Moderate winds and black as cloud over the range
That's why they say .... "up north". That view is the most pondered view in Thredbo; like looking at Tate Ridge and wondering "if only there was a lift".
Pissed I missed the week of the decade but get to ski next weekend so all good.
But in the context of the post (the Thredbo valley) he was looking down the valley. As in down stream, the way water would flow etc..
Down and up mean different things in different situations. Railways in NSW for example - all run up to Sydney and down away from Sydney. Which obviously doesn't match topography because Sydney is a hole.
The big dig out begins.......
Can't be snowing if the sun is out in Jindy
Can't argue with that.
Beat me to it. Was just about to post pic!
Apparently the groomers resurfaced that whole bowl last night to shorten the depth under the lines. Hence it was 45 late opening today.
Having boarded in the trees at the top of Cruiser last month it has filled in incrediably!! I think there 3-4 metres of base in that trees area.
And the boulder drop at top of Kosi chair has almost disappeared .
Think we gonna need a bigger shovel
Hollywood now called Ballroom
Plenty of heavy showers moving through here at present and cold to
Sitting on 5.5c.
Baw Baw looking sensational,
Judging by the radar could get another

Hotham was simply splendid today. As good I've seen it in Sept ever.
'Ain't no drop it's like a boulder roller
Mt Torbreck earlier in the week.
In state forest, so you can go skiing or boarding with your dog.
Hero drops for all!
Would love to see a pic of this if anyone can manage it
Diesels should be good in there as temp should be no lower than zero.No need to worry about air temp below zero.
pfff......pair of dippers
Popped some obs pics taken today on the Perisher thread. Lots of snow out there. Groomers were having to shift snow in the morning so that folks would not hit the chairs in and around Mt P.
Well my post worked!
Just some slight snow showers at kosiosco caravan park as we arrived. Not windy at all
Needs investigating from all angles
FYI. No one touched it today, ithinkeveryone was very much rose-coloured-glassed by what's to come!
Wind loaded convex entries over shear planes?
