Went on a great trek this week. My friend compiled a trip report, im going to be lazy and use his, rather than make my own

https://www.wikiloc.com/hiking-trails/alpine-hike-3-day-58183641

Day 1 - sunnyside - Cleve cole
Day 2 - cleve cole - ropers hut via quartz ridge
Day 3 - ropers - trapyard gap via pretty valley

A very special thanks to Gordy from glen wills wilderness retreat. We were very wet by sunset (6 layers of clothing soaked), 3km from cope hut on day 3. Rather than spend another night out very moist and cold (no guarantee of wood at hut) I called gordy, and he was at trapyard gap 2 hours later. Absolute hero and legend. Plus it meant the final day ended up being 45km, a new daily record + saved better part of half a day in car shuffles

Props to my mate who is a tortoise, he just keeps on going. Albeit i did a lot of waiting ahead and jumping around to stay warm lol

Pack was light - didnt carry any water, so much rain i could drink using the tree runoff

Mt wills south receives an honourable mention - stunning boulder country
