Cams suggest snow at Buller. Big flakes. Fingers crossed the temps stay low?

Any of the peeps at falls or hotham, has there been much rain? BOM obs for hotham not displaying rain and FC says 0mm? I see a couple of people at dinner plain reporting snow but no rain as yet. FCreek gully cam looks a little wet. (Curious from a snowpack/bonding perspective) Cheers

Good question, Gamera. It looked dry until it started flaking, but people up there will have a better idea. NSWs folk are reporting a hoar layer on top of an unstable crust layer—snow pack is going to be very funky after this if there wasn't any pre-frontal r**n i.e potential for whumpf

Not that I care about NSW but observe two posters within 9 minutes of each other saying opposite things re temp up or down
Both Perisher App and BOM Obs reading 0.3 Degrees and dropping. Wondering where 3 degrees as above was seen?

Was on the rise though from 2-3:30pm.
Still in positive territory for Perisher AWS. Uppers cooler than expected perhaps or 30km/h out of the north is doing enough adiabatically.

Snow on the TBJ cam too, which bodes well for low level snow in the Buller area.
It looks like the cam's pics are lagged by about half an hour or so too, so i guess its been low level snowing for about that long.
