This should be interesting for Eastern Suburbs drivers, drainage and floodways tomorrow:
Wow that's a lot of rain! Take care Sydneysiders.
Coming down good on South Perisher cam
Sydney hasn't had a 100mm day for a while, maybe a year. We are overdue. Maybe tomorrow if we're lucky
Super isolated. As in a couple of hundred kms wide. EC 00Z going with it too. GFS less so.
IMO 2-5cm for Lake Mountain, Mount Buller, Baw Baw is about all that's possible if it comes together. Snow possible down to 1000m at a point but otherwise around 1200m IMO.
Good pick-up this morning Jelly. Thought AXS had gone rogue on us.
That cold pool with lots of snow on the R is what jane forecasted early today
Not feeling it here, but stranger things have happened i guess.
Cheers to the OP for spotting this one.
Blowing it's frigging arse off outside here on the Sth Coast......

ok, I got to get in trouble this time
high no ?
Looks like this one might have been close to the mark.
GFS now has this wandering cold pool on 12Z run, but more influence on Main Range and Brindies (as opposed to BB, Buller and Lake Mtn). GFS says more like Friday 2-4cm chance.
Will be interesting to see how it plays out, no matter how small and insignificant it is...
temps look to be borderline , particularly at resort ht.
SDS says yes.
9 June says don't get too excited yet.
toss a coin.
There is a vague, remote chance of some snow around Baw Baw aroun 8-10pm tonight IMO, but largely this has faded quite a bit on the most recent runs. Dusting above1500m at best IMO.
Fingers crossed- would very much like to see this happen. Drizzle and much cooler in outer eastern Melb.
Died a slow gradual death from when it appeared on AXS at start of the week from the Charts I can .
Glimpses of moisture but the colder air seems to track west of the Mtns.
