    Obs thread?

Noted that temps have been dropping a little this morning in the mountains. Winds howling here at Moonbah since mid yesterday.

EDIT: I see it’s been posted.

1000hPa over the alps (in Nov) is nothing to be sneezed at.
Whilst the zonal trajectory over the next 12 hours is marginal, the Southerly push tomorrow morning should be quite complex. And fruitful for Southern Alps & MR.

All over by tomorrow night though.

100 mm of rain between Jindy and Cooma would be nice.

The Modelling for Baw Baw shows more r**n than snow. I am afraid it is turning into a miserable wet weekend : Too wet to bushwalk in the Vic. Alps, not sufficiently cold to snow enough to XC ski and the winds are all wrong for surfing in Vic. .

The system has delivered in spades.
See my Baw Baw observations , Cold front observations for Nov. 7-10th and my Mt. Baw Baw Trip report for 9/11/19. Thanks to the snow Gods , a few of us Mexicans got to XC ski on good deep powder snow in November.
    :)
